AND THINGS WE'VE DONE
Munkyfish Ltd was founded in 2007. It may be a fun name but that doesn't mean we aren't serious about the work that we do. From the point of engagement we get to know our clients and establish the right relationships with the right people to enable us to complete the project for which we have been appointed.
Our client base includes public sector bodies, government Ministries and global multi-nationals and the projects on which we have been engaged have been many and varied. The fact that at the point of completion of some of those projects we have been retained by the organisations concerned to work on new projects speaks for itself.
Whether you need a good quality user guide or need to identify requirements for a digital transformation programme we are here to help.
Whether you are looking to buy a best-fit, off-the-shelf package or build a solution from scratch you can only really start to explore solutions once you understand the problem(s) you are trying to solve. Only by speaking to all stakeholders, both internal and external, to get a thorough understanding of what the solution needs to do and what effect it will have on business processes and how it will be used, can you start to evaluate the best options available.
Below are a few examples of how we have helped our clients find solutions.
A major directory publishing company required a bespoke system to replace a paperwork intensive order capture process. By designing software which closely mirrored the paperwork with which salespeople were familiar the new system was implemented smoothly without alienating that often overlooked audience, the end users.
A major player in the UK vehicle leasing market wanted to give the drivers of its vehicles more access to information via web portals and through a mobile app. Working with a third party software developer we delivered an app which provided information and advice, pertinent to the user's individual vehicle, for use in a breakdown or accident, and to notify the driver with details of service reminders, vehicle recalls and other important information
A global exhibitions company required a way to quickly deliver recommendations to site users based upon their profile information and site activity. Again working alongside a third party consultancy a microservice was delivered to exchange information with a third party to ensure that users could be matched to people, products and companies from their initial interactions, resulting in hugely increased levels of engagement
One of the things on which we pride ourselves is our focus on the end user, whether that's an interal user or the customer. It's vital to ensure that you understand how they will use their system and for what purpose, so that you can make it intuitive to use and easy to navigate.
